Affiliate FAQ
How much do I get paid and for doing what?
It is simple; place a link to PMi Media's web site, and when a visitor clicks through and makes a purchase, we'll pay you a commission once the order is confirmed. You will receive your commissions each month and you can track your clickthroughs, unconfirmed and confirmed sales daily.
What if visitor doesn't buy at first visit, but returns at some later point of time and then buys?
PMi Media's web server places the cookie in the visitor's browser, and with this cookie we identify and credit affiliates. That means also that all future sales will be credited to the same affiliate, as long as visitor comes with this initial cookie.
Which web sites are generally accepted in PMi Media's affiliate program?
PMi Media does not impose any limitation regarding affiliates web sites. However, websites related to aviation and transport industries naturally have better conversion rate, and therefore earn more.
Is "link masking" permitted?
"Masking" incoming links, including redirects, links with rel="nofollow" attribute, and links on pages that are disallowed in web site's robots.txt file are not acceptable by PMi Media's affiliate program. Only clean, simple links qualify to receiving commissions.
What if my link ends up in search-engine result - do I get clickthrough too?
Yes! No matter where the visitor comes from, only affiliate code encoded in incoming URL is being considered in clickthrough accounting.
How do I check the status of my account?
Once your application has been approved, you will receive an e-mail notification which will include your username, password and linking instructions; make sure to make a note of this. You can then log in to our Affiliate Area, and view an "Affiliate Report" that summarizes your account status including clickthroughs, confirmed and unconfirmed sales. Additionally, you can expect to receive periodic e-mail updates.
